In Memory of Bronson

I know dear Lord, you sent me this friend,
faithful and loving, my life he’d defend.

He lived for me, and my love alone,
patiently waiting for my return home.

His relentless pursuit erased my sorrow,
his joy and optimism brought hope for tomorrow.

A constant companion, he rescued my heart,
but the time would come for us to part.

There was no end to our heartfelt connection.
His eyes spoke ‘I love you’ with deep affection.

Bronson gave me hope and strength assured,
Showing me ways to be more like you, Lord.

In faith I return him to you,
knowing that you make all things new.

I thank you for this generous gift of love.
