SLEEP AWAY CAMP! … Do you have the desire to have a well mannered pet, but you do not have the time to take lessons or attend a weekly class?  if you have answered yes, then "Sleep Away Camp" is right for you!  This course is my favorite.  Why, you might wonder?  When I first started in this profession more than 20 years ago, I felt that training the family dog in the home environment was ideal.  Since then, i have watched lives get busier and busier and therefore the relationship with the dog suffers.  You try, you mean well, and I know you really want to do the right thing for your dog.  But your lives are busy and you find it difficult to find the time to do the daily work it takes when first starting to train the dog.  So, that is why I would like you to allow me to train your dog for you.  I want to make this whole experience as easy as possible for you and your dog.  This is an intense course, where your dog will be taught the basic commands of Walking on a Leash without pulling and to walk by your side, Sit, Down and Stay, and to Come when called.   I will be training your dog everyday on basic commands and working toward eliminating any specific unwanted behaviors.  I will also provide play time and daily walks with your dog.  Upon completion of "Sleep Away Camp", you will be taught how to follow through when your dog arrives home.

      PUPPIES … Your puppy can enroll in "Sleep Away Camp" after it has completion of shots.  What are you supposed to do with the pup until that time you may wonder?  You can arrange for me to visit your home so I can teach you everything you will need to know for those first few months. Please phone me to discuss the details.

PRIVATE SCHOOL... This course is designed for you and your dog to be taught by me.  Training will start out at your home, then to parks and town centers for distraction work.  This program will make your dog responsive and reliable regardless of where he is or what is going on.  This is an excellent way to socialize your dog with people, dogs, and new sights and sounds.  In addition to basic commands, we will be concentrating on specific problems that are taking place.  First lesson is one and a half hours, then one hour per week.  This course can be done as a package of eight lessons or on a per lesson basis.  For puppies and dogs of all ages.

      ADVANCED...This course is designed for anyone who has successfully completed a basic obedience program with me or elsewhere, and would like to continue and accomplish off leash reliability with their dog.  Lessons are one hour.

CONSULTATIONS … Consultations in your home or by phone are designed to offer solutions to isolated problems concerning the relationship between you and  your dog.  A one time consultation can also be done for the new owner of a puppy or adult dog.  Session is one and a half hours.

TUNE UPS … Are you and your dog past obedience students?  Has your best pal regressed?  Is he starting to take you for a walk?  Don't be embarrassed, it happens.  You're both just in need of a Tune Up!  This program is designed to get your dog and you back on track, to get your dog back to being a civilized canine, in your home as well as in your neighborhood or town park.
